After some absence during the last week, I'm pretty much back in action starting now. Two things happened while I was away: Comiket 80 came and went, and the latest Tenma issue was finally scanned.
Right now I have around 2000 new things to skim through, but I'll give the new Power Play chapter my fullest attention. As for C80, the only thing I've decided on so far is that I will do Takumi na Muchi's Toaru doujin, as well as the omake for that book.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you YQII after the bonus chapter of toraburu shuusohen + with rito and mikan (which you translated for us after my request "smiles") which was basically a sequel to tappuri oishii mikan, Ithink it's safe to say Takumi decided to "explore" and cut off the mikan x rito for a bit and seperate it from his/her current zone (which was rito x mikan) so at least it's safe to say this C80 doujin with mikan exposing herself, and letting not one but two boys do lewd things to her was just a oneshot (as are most doujin) and will either go back to rito x mikan or just stop ToLoveRu relating to that pairing altogether and go on to new pastures.Hopefully takumi doesn't write one with something like this happening in it again, because trust me that doujin didn't sell much like his/her last doujin with rito x mikan or others, so hopefully takumi is done with this form of fermanting kinda shit and go back to the good old stuff aka happy/love sex. I just hope doesn't make the mistake of doing this to one of his/her To Aru doujin with misaka x touma because if that were to happen to misaka I think alot of Takumi na muchi fans would be including myself (since I only read doujin by Takumi na muchi) batshit pissed and probably march to where Takumi lives a kick the living shit out of em.
ReplyDeleteSo I think it's safe to say I got my point across, also thank you YQII for selecting to translate Takumi's C80 To Aru doujin Negikata and the omake book for it Negikata Anoato which for people who don't know is a small 9 page funny/hot/cute continuation of the doujin.
Once again thanks YQII keep up the good work.
Just to make it extra clear this C80 doujin by Takumi involving mikan is seperate from the other ones involving herself and rito so don't fear this is not related to those others in any way other than the fact their written/drawn by the same author.
ReplyDeleteIt's in a totally different universe where rito never did make love with mikan as he did in the other three rito x mikan doujins and mikan got all lonely/depressed and did two shota boy's since she couldn't have rito.
So yeah rito x mikan/Takumi na muchi fans just don't even bother acknowledging this doujin's existence just as I have done and hope Takumi writes another rito x mikan doujin in the future or whatever.

All in all it's a experimental Spinoff
Wait, am i the only one that liked Houkago Mikan? I mean it was far from vanilla and those expecting it to follow the vanilla trend from the past doujins must be pissed i know, but i liked it.
