Another chapter (09) from Ojousama no Himitsu, this being the last untranslated chapter, so huzzah batch! I added the cover + the pages before the first story in the 1st chapter, and one page at the end of chapter 4, I believe that's all the "bonus" pages fom the tankoubon.
Usual formalities: I did chapter 6 and 9, credit goes out to the other translators/editors respectively.

About the batch, on chapter 5 mahou shoujo mint, on the last panel the small creature answers "ぼつ" , I think that it means something in the line like "that bit" (of small pieces); in the case would be something like "only that?", implying that being forced to sleep with random guys is not "only that".
ReplyDeleteI meant ぽつ, not ぼつ =V
ReplyDeleteThanks you very much, sir. Inbuboshi is..... pretty much a god among artists. Your work is very much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for your work. You are very diligent, so keep up the great work
ReplyDeleteIMO it's referring to the "Poh" line that Suu utters in the third-to-last panel... It doesn't make much more sense, and that's probably why the creature is perplexed.
ReplyDeleteYQII didn't do that chapter so this is probably the wrong place to be asking about the Mint chapter.
ReplyDeleteHurray for completeness! Inuboshi is definitely one of my favorites, so thanks a lot these works!
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for this!

ReplyDeleteInuboshi is some kind of god.
ReplyDeleteAnd for translating his stuff you're, like, some kind of demi-god.
Actually ぽっ means blush. The Ball thingy says ぽつ which Yahoo.jp dic says is 小さい点。ぽち。ちょぼ。 IOW... small speck, dot, etc. Although it might be some sort of pun, but I don't think so. She's obviously blushing furiously in the bottom right hand frame, so that's what the ぽっ means. However, I'm not sure why the ball thingy is confused. The 'thing she wanted to tell her' in the last frame was what she said in the middle frame when she's being all tsundere. I think the mangaka was probably in a weird state when he did that and it was probably quite funny to him. However, the end product came out kinda weird. Anyhoo.... that's my take on it. ^__^
ReplyDeleteOh, who actually translated it? It doesn't really say on the chapter....
ReplyDeleteLook close in that third-to-last panel bubble, you will see that it is not a speech buuble, and that the Hiragana is:
ReplyDeleteぽっ (po + small tsu) with a blush, slightly flushed
Be aware that in manga and tankoubon, regular and small tsu are sometimes hard to tell apart in vertical print.
Yuu was extremely flustered since she wasn't supposed to enjoy herself while doing "battle" with Mint.
