Here's the continuation of this story.

After what happened in the previous volume, Kirino decides that they should go the "let's pretend nothing happened" route, and kicks Kyousuke out so he can go on his date with Kuroneko. However, Kirino has a hard time pretending nothing happened between them, and she eventually snaps and goes full-out yandere.

More-or-less the entire OreImo cast celebrates Kyousuke's class' graduation with a cherry blossom viewing party. They eventually drop off one after another, leaving only Kyousuke and Kuroneko--but before leaving, Kanako makes Kyousuke drink some of her "special juice."

Kuroneko gets completely wrecked in this one. There aren't any tongues sticking out, but I suppose this is a more moe sort of ahegao. Good stuff.

[Hyoco Road] Absolute Kirino Territory

Today is a joyous day for OreImo fans! Firstly because this is the second OreImo doujin in a row, and this release marks the beginning of a new OreImo series by Hyoco Road--who for some reason romanized his circle name as "Hyocolord" here.

I should probably point out right from the get-go that this is not a continuation of Hyoco Roads's previous OreImo doujin series, and for those familiar with the original, this takes place around the time of volume 8 (with apparently some alternations).

What does that mean? It means Kyousuke and Kuroneko are dating, but they haven't really gone any further than holding hands. He turns to Kirino for advice on how to push their relationship to that next stage, but her solution is a bit unorthodox to say the least.

The author mentions in the forewords that he wants to try and take this in a somewhat different direction than his previous story, making it less of a love-comedy and more like an intricate soap opera. You already have the triangle-drama and cliffhanger ending, so we'll just have to wait and see where he eventually goes with this one.

Also, despite its namesake title, there isn't really any zettai ryouiki in this one...

Oh no, it's already translated! AntiAgingAnon had already cleaned it, so I thought I might as well do it, seeing how I like this particular series and it's only 15 pages long.

Kuroneko's having some sort of problem at school, and after some convincing, turns to Kyousuke for some consultation. His advice is for her to be a bit more open and try to look at things from a from a different viewpoint. While at it, they try something else that's a bit different from their usual routine.

By the way, here's the song from the last page (cover--original's from 1985).

Okay look, I've been active again after my break for like three weeks now. As of now, I have nine projects (books) active, and I currently release around three chapters/week.

This includes non-book releases as well--such as this one--so realistically, it will be around one month between two chapters from the same book. This is pretty much the fastest release rate I can keep up with consistently; I could've had daily releases some week ago (if I pressured the editors/proofreaders as well), but then there would've been 1-2 release-free weeks. I prefer to have it this way.

I think one month between chapters is way too long myself, which is why I won't have this many projects running concurrently in the future. Several of the books are nearing their completion, so things will only get better from here on!

Finally, and I can't stress this enough: if you're wondering, look at the Books page. Unless it's listed as "stalled," I am working on that book.

DL keeps churning out Kuroneko doujins, and so will AntiAgingAnon and I.

I don't know what's been going on in the anime or manga adaptations, but I'm guessing these are heavily based on the much further advanced novels. Seems like they've both moved out to their own places, so now they can do it wherever they want!
... Well, not that having people in their surrounding has really stopped them in the past.

Various outfits has been a hallmark for the OreImo DL series, and in this one, they're going back to the well-tried classics: school uniforms and (eventually, naked) aprons!

Latest doujin from Sunshine Creation 54, and we're back to OreImo again!

This takes place on New Year's Day at Kuroneko's house. Kyousuke is playing card games with Kuroneko and her sisters while getting warmed up in a kotatsu.

They're playing "Concentration" (a.k.a._Memory/Pairs/etc.)---a game in which you flip two cards at a time and try to get two matching values. While waiting for your turn, you take your f00t to her vag00 and j... wait, that's not how I remember it...

Here's the third part to Sasahara Yuuki's OreImo series from Summer Comiket--once again edited by ThorW. The first two parts can be found here and here.

This part takes place at the pool, and it seems like Kyousuke is teaching Kuroneko how to swim. They stay late, it starts to rain, and they find themselves locked out of the locker rooms. What is a boy and girl to do when wet, alone, and with no place to go?

I don't think I'll have any to release anything else before the year is over, so this will probably be the last post of 2011. A rather suitable one, seeing how Kuroneko Note 2. was the first thing to be released this year. The circle is complete!

PPS: As some of you might've noticed, parts of the Books and Finished Projects?(and maybe other) pages are missing. This seems to be due to special characters, such as ' (apostrophe), not being interpreted somewhere down the WWW railroad. Jacob is busy at the moment, but he'll have a look at it when possible. I have older versions of the pages backed up, so they're not lost; just unavailable.

Kirino has returned from America, and she's back home with Kyousuke and Kuroneko. A lot of stuff happened while Kirino was away that needs to be sorted out, and in true OreImo spirit, they do so through one big life counseling session.

For some reason, Kuroneko has decided to take a different path in life, away from all the dark and gloomy stuff, and suddenly she's Kamineko. Seems like she's trying to control fate through some book this time. Unfortunately, her plans are thwarted by the dreaded summer-sun. Time to take things into her own hands.

After 10-something OreImo translations, I decided to look through the anime and?marathon'd?it last Saturday. That wasn't much help at all though, since it only covered (oh noes, spoilers that anyone should know about by now!) up until Kirino goes to America, and pretty much all the doujins I've worked on takes place after that. Still, the bonus episodes were kind of useful for the Kuroneko part.

I also learned that Ikeda Sakura (artist of the manga adoption) is going to do a spin-off manga with Kuroneko. Dunno if it'll follow the novels or be an original story, but it's probably worth checking out whenever it's released.

I should say something about this doujin. It starts with Kyousuke and Kuroneko having a study session at Kuroneko's house (you get to see her sisters!), but they'll eventually end up in a private room at an internet cafe. When she's finally starting to get somewhat accustomed to the general idea of sex, the obvious next step is to take it out in the public. Here's a full-color doujin that appeared out of the blue. Seems like the author's goal still is to release the fourth and final part of this story during summer Comiket, so it's nice to have something smaller to help us get through those 4½ months of waiting ahead of us!

The story takes place at what seems to be the night directly following the third book, and most likely directly preceding the fourth. Kyousuke, being the nice guy he is (if you disregard the fact that he's sleeping with pretty much everyone), is spending the night at Manami's house so he can comfort her. Someone will ask, so just to be clear: no rape.

Some people tent to go gaga over anything colored. Me, not so much. Although I have to say that Hyocorou's stuff in color is pretty awesome. Suddenly green-haired Manami is fine with me. Because searching is hard: part 1, part 2, part 3!

Aaand... after a short deto(a)ur(u)--sorry for the bad joke---we're back on the OreImo track again. This doujin is about three dates that seems to happen in succession. Took me long enough, huh? This part of the tetralogy wasn't the easiest in the series so far, and judging from its content, I think many wouldn't consider it the best.

Like most other Hyoco Road doujins, the art is a bit over the top and wacky at times. Unlike most Hyoco Road doujins, the theme is a bit darker, but the author chickens out and tries to redeem himself in the end. I translated the afterwords in this one, since I thought it was nice to let the author respond to the inevitable QQ that this will bring.

I took a break from everything translation related after Christmas.
During that time, C79 happen, so now I have a lot of work waiting for me :]

This is the second part to this doujin, although I don't really see much of a connection between the two. This is probably just a reflection on where the OreImo story is at the moment. Kuroneko is wearing cat ears, a maid outfit, and a tail with a built-in, multi-mode vibrator. What more do you need to know?

Kuroneko has been ignoring Kyousuke since what happened last time, until she finally decides to go home to him to work on a ero-game (You have to give artists credit for coming up with original scenarios in OreImo doujins). She also insists on it being on a day where he's home alone... [spoiler] . . . . . . . . . . or is he? . . . . . . . . . . [/spoiler]

This ends with a pretty big cliffhanger, and winter Comiket is coming up in a month.
Knowing how this circle produces doujins like a machine, hopefully we'll see 57 then.

While on this topic, here's what will happen in the near future:

Yet another Digital Lover doujin, and this included, it's the 3rd non-Toaru doujin since D.L. action 45. Everyone who's anyone seems to be doing OreImo doujins right now. Judging from the doujin scene alone, it seems that Kirino is still in America, and Kuroneko is the new female lead as Kyousuke's underclassman, which is fine with me.

Kuroneko and Kyousuke are assigned a game to work on, and to incorporate some chuuni into it. Turns out it's some gay rape game, and Kuroneko points out that the protagonist sounds like Kyousuke. Kyousuke tries to get back to her by teasing her, but the line between playful teasing and doing it gets more and more blurry as the story progresses. AntiAgingAnon did the editing.

Man, I'd like to have a goth-loli cosplaying little girl insisting to come over to my place all the time. I'd debugg her C-route all day, if you know what I mean.
