09 - Cozy Cat

Summer is over and it's just getting colder, so I guess this chapter fits the season.

Girl's excited about meeting her boyfriend for the first time in a while. However, when she enters his apartment, it's just as cold inside as it is outside. As his only source of heat, he's been sharing the bed with his cat (in a non-lewd way), but now that his girlfriend has arrived, he can share it with her instead (in a lewd way).

Here's a story about a young master and his servants. In particular, Yasuko-san, a humble girl who's really concerned about her height. Truth be told, I'm not really sure if this is really shota, or if she's just really tall--which would perhaps make it shorta?

Here's a story about a girl taken by surprise when the boy who promised to marry her when they were kids suddenly announces that he's moving to America with his family. Although she's short, she tries to convince with that she's grown up in other ways.

05 - Saki Ura

Turns out this is sorta a continuation from previous chapters: after getting married in chapter 4, the pair from chapter 2 had a child. Now, several years later, that child is helping out his Mom's (now adult) younger sister who has realized her dream of becoming a manga artist.

To make ends met, she also does some ero manga on the side, and with her regular guy unable to help, her nephew has to lend her a helping hand.

04 - UraUra

The conclusion to the main story of the book. Kyouko from chapter 2 is getting married, and the whole cast is gathered at the wedding. The focus, however, is not on the bride, but on the girl from chapter 1 and her dysfunctional relationship with her boyfriend. Maho makes a couple of "appearances" as well...

03 - Bad Habit

A guy visits what he thinks is his girlfriend, only to find her having sex with one of his old classmates. She sees no problem with it, since she doesn't consider either one of them her boyfriend. What's more, turns out they're not the only ones she used to go out with in high school...

PS: Some of the chapters in this manga were "translated" by someone using the Italian translation. The translator pointed out that he knows neither Japanese or Italian, basically ran it through an online translator, and that it should only be seen as a for-the-time-being version. I haven't looked at it, but I can only assume the final result leaves a lot to be desired, so AAA and I will keep working on this Jap->Eng translation.

[Bareisho] Urahara Ch.02

02 - Un-opening Door

Here's another project that has laid dormant for quite some time now. The post for the first chapter sums up the story if you have forgotten.

This story is about a daughter of a liquor store owner who wants her to take over the store some day. He put up a poster saying he was looking for a part-time worker, as well as someone to marry his daughter. Someone applies for the job, and luckily for her, he's not a complete dick like her high school "sweetheart."

[Bareisho] She Hates Losing

From the same author, but from a different tankoubon. When AntiAgingAnon suggested the book we're currently working on, I had never heard about this author, and decided to look up his other works. I really liked this story, so I decided to do this one before I get started on the chapters from the Urahara book.

I think the author came up with a really brilliant combination for this chapter:
Take a tsundere, tomboy-ish childhood friend who loves to compete in anything possible, hook her up to a lie detector, and ask her embarrassing questions.

01 - Urahara

This is a reedit by AntiAgingAnon. We're going to finish the rest of the book together, starting from chapter 2. The first six chapters is about the same group of people, and typically there's one chapter dedicated to one couple—a familiar concept for those of you who have read any of Dr.P's book (if you haven't, I have failed in my mission to bring Dr.P-awareness to the internets).

This first chapter is about the group of people meeting and having a drink together. The main female character reluctantly have to meet her old childhood friend who used to pull down her pants while in high school. Things haven't changed much.
