Because treating Mami and Kyouko like shit and implying they're sexual desegregates is so funny and cool right?
I'll never understand people who claim to like the characters then turn around calling their feelings cheap, weak, and that they do something depraved and low class like just fuck anyone who's close.
>but it's just porn who cares Just because it's porn doesn't mean you're not being wildly insulting to the characters. And just because they're fiction doesn't mean you can't insult them. Insult and offence are not the same thing. Insults are an actions and offence is a feelings.
Either way you're saying something very negative about the strength of the feelings of the characters and treating them like sexual degenerates.
Taking your reasoning to its extreme consequences, anything the characters don't do in the original is an insult to them. What are you doing reading doujins then? Sheesh, I'd never thought there were Puella Magi fundamentalists on the internet...
No, that's not even close to what my reasoning is doing. Because not all variation from canon has a negative implication about the characters.
There is nothing negative about a statement that portrays the character's feelings as they are, but it is wildly negative to say the character's feelings as they in the series are so weak and cheap they would easily be thrown away and/or the character would do something low brow such as fuck around. Which is what happens here. >I love Syaka >no now I love Mami That portrays Kyouko as a shallow person who's feelings are cheap, shallow, and make her out to be unfaithful.
That's an insult to her character. But if a doujin does say she is true to her feelings as she express them in the series there is nothing negative that could be implied.

ReplyDeleteNot so much.
At the end of the day you're telling two people they shouldn't love each other and it's wrong. That's not a good thing at all.
