Time for an announcement!

In less than one months time, I'll be celebrating the six year anniversary of this blog. I simply started doing this back in April 2008 as a way to rid myself of the boredom that came from doing nothing but watch anime all day for months (I was essentially a NEET at that time, waiting for the new semester), and never thought it would lead to anything.

However, during the last couple months, I've been given the chance to be involved in something very exciting, and today we're finally able to make it public. Rather than me repeating what has already been said, I suggest you head over to FAKKU and read the announcement there:

I'll be working very closely with the FAKKU crew on this project; I'll be involved in most of the major decisions concerning the releases. Of course, my main role will be as a translator, and all of the three so-far announced books will be translated by me.

What does this mean for the future of this blog and my work here? For starters, I'd like to finish my current projects (books and other series). Melody has already been completely translated by other groups, so I will be dropping that book after the next chapter (5), but other than that, I intend to finish the remaining book projects.

Of course, it'll be hard to keep up my one-release-ever-2-3-days release pace; if I spend all day translating, I probably wanna do something else in my spare time. I can't say how long it'll take, but I want to finish what I've started.

Once that is done, I'll probably focus on doujins, and do one whenever I get the chance. For now, all I can say is that I want to continue to work on Digital Lover's D.L. action series--I can easily handle one doujin every other month.

If you're familiar with what I do, you probably know that two other artists that lie close to my heart are Dr.P and Drill Jill. A new Dr.P book and the conclusion to the Sperm-star series are probably the only times when I'll go back to working on a book again.

The timing is a tad bit unfortunate, since I'm going to be out of town this weekend (I already am, actually). I'll try to answer any questions when I get back home.

Actually, there will be a Reddit AMA later on this week, so it's probably better if you save your questions for that--unless they're about this blog.

Ryousuke has to go home during Golden Week and can't spend it with Momoko like they had planned. He promises to come back as soon as possible, and he does by coming back two days earlier. However, she doesn't answer on her phone, and when he goes to her work, she's taken the day off. He gets her address from her cooworkers, and decides to visit her at home for the first time...

Also, the color pages are from the magazine version, because they were B&W'd and looked kinda ugly in the tankoubon.

Despite not being the last part, this is sorta the climax to the series.

The bad guy gets thrown around quite literally from one mech to another while the heroines finish their mission (whatever that was). Let's just say the robots aren't the one things gattai-ing with each other.

There are still two more doujins left, but they're about the aftermath of these events.
