08 – Narikiri #19

After many months, here's finally the last chapter of this book!

Once again, Shiori lends a hand to a club in trouble. This time, it's a group of students who want to revive the calligraphy club, and in order to do that, they need a good showing at the upcoming culture festival. That also goes for Kensuke (who I'll refer to by first name, since the author keeps changing his last name for some reason), so he needs to stay behind for some private lessons with Shiori.

I wonder if writing calligraphy on a girl is a thing. It should be a thing.

What now...?
Small rant regarding my projects; i.e., where I do both the translation and editing.

One big reason as to why it has taken me ~3 months to release this last chapter is me focusing on Comiket doujins over tankoubons for about half a year now. I apologize to those of you waiting for this and new Drill Jill chapters, but hopefully you've enjoyed at least some of the other stuff I've been putting out. While we're currently in the middle of C85, the next one is pretty far off (since they take place in August and December), so I'll probably get a lot more tankoubon work done in the upcoming months.

For now, I won't start on any new (solo) project, and I'll focus entirely--tankoubon-wise, since I still have a lot of C85 doujins I wanna do--on completing the last three chapters of Spermaniax, so I'll have that out of the way when the third and final book is released.

Another reason to why this has taken so long is that I'm just not very motivated to work on this at the moment. I love Charlie Nishinaka, and it's really typesetting and cleaning the bad scans that bums me out. For that reason, I probably won't start on Vol.04 right after Spermaniax, and instead, I'll do at least one other book in-between.

I'm going to finish the Narikiri/Choice series, but it won't be the next thing I finish. The only exception to this would be if some experience editor would offer to do the editing, in which case I'd have no problem providing a translation.
