A girl comes to a video store to rent some AV for "practice." Her classmate works at the store, and he offers to lend her some of his DVDs instead. He then comes home to her to borrow (sure is a lot of variations of "borrow" in this story) her laptop, but ends up giving her a hand with her practice. Men sure are kind towards women.

Bleh, only one of those 'truths' was even common(Marriage: Ehn, if I really have to...) and one was admittedly functionally unavoidable and applies equally to women(Chuck? We met while he was doing construction work on my house, and the first thing I noticed was his taut,rippling sensitivity and intelligence.), so.

Yeah, that's a pretty stupid and, ironically, insensitive article. She talks like women don't have relations just for sex, but then talks like it's okay to be with a man who's just looking for sex if you're also just looking for a 'sexual adventure'. So she admitted that women also look for purely sexual relationships, but talks like it's okay or something? Pretty strange.
ReplyDeleteAlso, women have just as many flaws as men. Nobody is perfect, everyone has their own problems. All in all, a very shallow and unintelligent article, at least in my opinion. I certainly don't think men are better than women, but this woman is talking like women are better than men, which also isn't the case. It's just kind of irritating, and don't be fooled, YQII!!! You don't have to feel sorry for having Y chromosome :D

I'm not sorry for having a Y chromosome, but I'm sorry to see people talking about things they does not understand. Most of those "truths" are indeed truth. Male and female humans are nothing but animals trying to mate with the best partner to give a better offspring, and both have developed different mating standards through the evolutionary process.
ReplyDeleteBoth man and woman look for the physical attributes of the partner, and both man and woman does cheat on their partners - there's a discussion on the human glans having such shape to "take out" other male sperm from the woman's vagina. And that's only the tip of the iceberg.
There's a lot of bias, and thanks to the feminism present in many countries it's only natural to blame men for everything, and even many academic research - mostly from humanities - have been supporting it. It's interesting, however, that it's biology and evolutionary psychology which are providing the most serious contributions to understanding human behavior and pinpointing all the inconsistency on popular belief.
Though I'm not in favor of feminism nor "masculism", I think it's important to know such stuff so you don't end doing silly things as saying you are sorry because you were born with this or that gene...
But let's stop with such talk. It's not appropriated for a fine scanlation blog.
