Due to an unfortunate childhood trauma, Koyoi is afraid of men. The only man she can socialize with is her next-door neighbor, who just happens to be her new tutor. Her friend (the main character of the next chapter) suggests that she might be able to cure her androphobia by getting close to him. Turns out it was an excellent suggestion!
