04 - If we could meet by the sea
06 - Southern island Bus-Bus Sequel
Ex - BusBus Endless
Here's a reedit of two chapters using the tank version, and a two page extra story at the end of the book. As usual, AntiAgingAnon did the edit, and I changed some of the lines.

About the hospital thing...
I haven't felt like doing much these last couple days, for obvious reasons.
The last year I've experienced abdominal pains that lasted for 15-20 hours, and during that time I couldn't do much besides feeling bad about myself. The response I got when calling a doctor was, "wait and see if it goes away by itself", and it always did.
Tuesday two weeks ago this lasted over 30 hours, so this time I had to go to the hospital. They ran some tests and scanned my stomach, and I had an infected gallbladder as well as gallstones. At first they planned on treating the infection, and then remove the bladder several months later. Apparently the infection got worse during my stay, so they had to operate right away.
The operation went fine, and I could leave after a couple of days. It's almost been a week since the operation now, and most of the pain is starting to wear off. I only feel it when getting up after sitting or lying down, and while laying down on my side.
I should probably be able to go back to my usual daily routines starting next week, which includes translating. So far, all of this weeks releases were already translated, and had to be edited. There's still some stuff left at the editing stage, so you probably won't notice my two week hiatus.

Hope you get better! On the plus side, you're becoming a far more efficient human being by removing nonessential organs!
ReplyDeleteKeep on keeping on!
Good thing you're back man, I really like your work and hope you get better.
ReplyDeleteBTW, where can I find the other chapters of this series (if they're translated, that is). Sorry if I'm being an idiot (maybe I am xD)
Just rest up and get better, dude. Stay healthy, mate.
ReplyDeleteSounds bad man. Nice to see you back.
ReplyDeleteJust relax and heal, OK?
ReplyDeleteOh wow. I used to have kidney stones so I know how bad the pain can get. Hope you get back to health soon man. =(
ReplyDeleteOn another subject, is this Uminchu book the same as Natural? I have a feeling it is, unless the first part of Southern Island Bus Bus was published in a previous tank? If they ARE the same, do you have any idea where I can get the other chapters?
'If We Could Meet by the Sea' is my favourite Teri Terio story (though I still got most of 'Glasses School to read, shit) mostly just for that 'fuck in my panties' line. Certainly worth another look, though I hope that line wasn't changed...
ReplyDeleteAnd what the fuck is a gallbladder? And what the fuck kind of doctor ignores chronic abdominal pain for a year for that matter? Isn't that the idiot patient's job? (I've done this)
Well shit, at least now they've cut the bastard out from your gut, gotta be a relief. Take it easy now man, far worse excuses to slack off.
Actually, I don't mind waiting another months again until you're fully healthy.
ReplyDeleteDuring this period, please get a lot of rest.
Like the previous Mr. Anon said, if what it takes for you to get back to full health is a bunch of additional weeks of rest and peace and quiet, I don't think any of us will mind. Godspeed with your recovery, man. =)
ReplyDeleteThe gallbladder basically works with your liver. We've evolved to the point where its no longer necessary, but unlike the appendix, we at least know what it does.
ReplyDelete@YQII
I'm probably going to have gallbladder trouble sometime, as my father did, and you can apparently inherit it...
I have had gallbladder scares, though, so I kind of know the pain you're talking about, and boy is it unpleasant. You're a real trooper to have put up with it for a year.
Hey, great to see that you're doing well and everything went fine, real glad to hear that.
ReplyDeleteDon't feel bad at all about taking however long of a hiatus you need to to get back to full health. I'm sure everyone understands that your health is far more important than translating.
Have a good break ^^
that gall bladder looks like one of the ghosts in yoshi's island.
ReplyDeletePains that last 15-20 hours? And your doctor just said "wait to see if it goes away"? That's, pretty bad, but glad to hear you're doing better. Get well soon, bro.
The weird thing is that every time I called, they were like, "Have a banana. It's healthy and stuff", but the last time they told me that I should get help if the pain lasts more than 6 hours. You get what you pay for I suppose (free health care lol).
ReplyDeleteI had the same problem 8 years ago.
ReplyDeleteTake it easy and just relax. In my experience the worst of the post-operation pain goes away after a week (with painkillers) and you'll be bouncing back in about a month (not that I really recommend on doing so).
I hope you'll be home soon and that the pain goes away as soon as possible.
ReplyDeleteI would like to know if you plan on doing the rest of the manga or just this part and if you'll put up the whole batch when its done?
I have no intentions to work on the rest of this.
ReplyDeleteGlad to read you're getting better, then, YQII :)
ReplyDeleteTake your time if necessary, hentai comes second :)
