[Sasahara Yuuki] Ohisama no Nioi no Suru Shoujo - It's been two years since I last translated something by this artist, and ever since has his works been brought up for suggestion. [Syati Kamaboko] Kaichou no Iinari - The main theme of this book is dominant girls. The main, 4 part story is about a girl who likes to tease her boyfriend. There's also a thee parter about a guy who dies and has to be "judged" by some sort of death god deities. Conan and I will pick this one up once we're done with PCP. pant.su link

Just wandering by, but I wanted to just say one thing.
ReplyDeleteI feel iffy about the term "Reverse Rape." I understand that it's been popularized in the community, but I still feel there's an oddity in the fact that the root term "rape" has an underlying attribution to males doing the raping when, in fact, rape can also involve females being the aggressor. Using "reverse rape" makes it easy to know "hey it's a female doing it!" but it also enforces the supposition that rape is male on female/other male only.
Just something that's been bothering me for a while.
I personally think "revered rape" is more humorous than normal rape. It's not so much about the guy crying and begging her to stop, but more about her pushing him down and forcing him to do embarrassing things , and in the end he doesn't really mind. And I know the legal definition of rape is "if someone close to anyone who took part of the act utters the word "no" 72 hours before or after the act, it's rape," but that's because we live in a society on a modern day witch hunt against pedophiles and rapists.
ReplyDeleteThat being said, I'm sure the reason we don't see (IMO) real female-on-male rape in hentai is because people believes that rape is male-on-anything exclusive.
I know I'm very far out on the vanilla side when it comes to hentai, so there's probably some "real" female-on-male rape out there that I don't know of, but when I use the term "reverse rape," I pretty much mean "femdom."
