[Amatarou] Lesson to You Ch.09, batch

09 - Things you can do Together

Last chapter of the book, once again, edit by AntiAgingAnon. About a dojikko in glasses who wants to prove to her parents that she can make it on her own. Turns out she pretty much can't, and she ends up mooching off her new found (tiny) friend. Like every other girl in anime and hentai, she can't cook, but she want to thank him for taking care of her. Defying all rational thinking, she decides to cook for him. How will it all end? Tits :D
Also, the moral of the story is "it's the thought that counts." That's nice.

Why does water not put out an oil fire? Oil is lighter than water, which means that
if you combine the two, the oil will float. By the same token, if you try to put out an oil
fire with water, the burning oil will merely float on top of the water and spread.
Thanks Rosenfeld, Sam! Now I know!

The size is mainly due to megabyte sized files in the first couple of chapters.

  4. This is some great stuff as expected from Amatarou. Almost ready to be added to the collection. But I gotta say, the grammar for the first 4 chapters (the ones done by PR & Kaya) is really bad. Those must not have gone through a QC/proofreading phase. It's the one downside to this otherwise great H-manga in my eyes. Makes me want to go through and QC those chapters to at least make the English flow a little better.

In any case, thanks a lot YQII and AntiAgingAnon for continuing to bring out quality stuff.

  5. And knowing is half the battle!

I resent that comment about every girl in animu/manga not being able to cook, there are some who can, there's... well then... no, not that one... hmm...

Gimme a few minutes, I'll think of someone.

  6. The grammar, translation, and editing for the first 5 chapters by PR & Kaya were just terrible. It reads like a babelfish translation. Would you mind redoing the first 5 chapters, YQII? Otherwise, I'd also try my hand at proofreading it.

  7. the first 5 chap is the engrish tests, to see if you able or not learning both Jap and Eng at the same time without confuse the grammar

look like we all fail the tests

  8. I can't see myself redoing half of this book anytime soon, if ever. If the grammar really is that bad (I haven't read it), chances are some of the lines are downright wrong. I would advice anyone willing to redo the chapters to team up with an actual translator. Then again I suppose an upgrade to the tank scans could never hurt.

For the time being, I have a reedited version of "Neesan to boku 2/summer holiday chapter" in Daisy to look at, but after that I'm somewhat tired of Amatarou.

  10. The comment about an oil fire isn't quite correct. With a small fire, (ie kitchen grease or oil) trying to extingish it with water can cause the oil to violently cause the water to flash to steam and throw the oil/grease across a wider area. In a larger case, (ie refineriey or oil rig/transport) while it is true that the oil will float on the water, water is still used, along with a chemical mixed with it called A-Triple-F(Aqueous film forming foam) to prevent the fire from spreading. It is also layed in a fog to cool the surrounding area as well as try and displace oxygen to try and smother the fire.
