Here's the most recent volume of this series, from C77. I must say I'm happily surprised over the positive reactions this series has gotten. It's fun to see that I'm not the only one enjoying it. There's a new pairing in this one, but it seems like the main story is moving towards a climax (no pun intended). I'm pretty sure we'll see a new volume on the next Comiket Summer in August, but hopefully sooner.

I think this is one of the few chapters that doesn't take place in a school environment. A guy confesses to his childhood friend, but she rejects him since she only sees him as a friend. A few years later she changes her mind, but she's feeling to guilty for turning him down to tell him. Well, after what happens in this chapter it's pretty hard to hide her feelings anymore. I don't know if there's some subtle/stupid Japanese humor that I don't get, but some Maybe stories/lines are just weird. Anyway, with this the whole book is (sometimes re-) translated by me and edited by Conan. Also this is the tenth book I've finished, not counting Choice 1 or the books listed under finished (yeah, I know). Yay me.

Only the first half of this is translated, which is the Kirintei story. Some of the latest Kirintei doujins have been lacking in crazy, but in this one he's going back to his trademark obsessive yandere and reverse NTR. It's yet another Idolmaster doujin, so expect the poor producer to blackmailed into doing it. Also includes girls looking crazy while holding a cell phone, like every other Kirintei doujin (for some reason).

Final chapter of this book! Big thanks for ThorW for doing the editing for most of the chapters. Many books ends with a "I did this like three years ago, but never put it in a book, so lol filler" chapter, but not this one. It's a bonus chapter with Fumi-san, and all the other characters from the book makes an appearance.  I really enjoyed working on this manga, and while I'm sad that it's over, this means I can start on the new Dr.P book! If you enjoyed this book as much as I did, I'm sure you'll like the new one as well.

This was the only chapter I was planning to translate from this book. Conan and I will work on the whole book (think it's around 15 chapters), but I was already done with the script for this one when we decided on that. We will do the last chapter and finish "Mankai Otome" first, but after that we'll start on chapter 1.

With pretty much every book project coming towards an end, now would be a good time to announce some new projects that will keep me occupied during the summer, and probably the fall as well.

[Wanyanaguda] Kuro Loli - Shouldn't be much of a surprise to anyone. I mean, it's even on the Books page. Cover. On to some new stuff!

[Dr.P] Shinryaku Teki Ren'ai Shugi - I really fell in love with Dr.P when working on "Whenever you Touch me" (last chapter is being edited at the moment), and his new book is filled with the same kind of stuff. Expect more school themed stories with supporting characters getting their own story later on in the book. Cover.

[Sameda Koban] Pink Cherry Pie - I was only going to translate one chapter from this, but then Conan reminded me that we're almost done with "Mankai Otome". Long story short: we decided to work on the whole thing after the Maybe book. You could use Sameda Koban as a benchmark for the kind of hentai I like. The art is clean, the characters are cute, and the stories often ends with a laugh. Cover.

[Tosh] Menkui - When it comes to art, Tosh is God-tier. Hands down one of the best artists out there if you ask me. This book is really new, and that means I might not be the only one that wants to work on this. For that reason this one will be a bit tentative for the moment. If no one else starts working on it by the end of this month (April), I will. Cover.

The girlfriend is worried that her big breasts makes her look like a slut (which seems to be what people in hentai actually believes), so she practices to jump rope without having her tits bouncing up and down and attract attention. Not jumping rope is naturally out of the question, and when she's jumping in her room she gets herself entangled in a bondage-esque fashion. One more chapter to go and me and Conan are done with this book and can move on with our lives (maybe to a new project!?).

Of course that means living under the same roof as his female childhood friend. I like this chapter better than the previous one. This one feels more Yamatogawa-ish with the comical situations and light story. As with the rest of the book, this was edited and decensored by Vaizard.
