I suggest you take a look at the advice I gave bubbadg, it is easy to do and helps a bunch. It was in the comments of that post : http://bubbadg.blogspot.com/2009/11/yay.html
"- you will upload the files just ONCE, the rest is simply updating links on your blog posts." Reuploading a file to RS/MU takes seconds, and I can just queue 10 or so files at the same time and do something else while they're being uploaded. Sadly, updating links is the bothersome part for me :D
Thanks for the tips though. I'm almost done reuploading most things by now by the way.
I've noticed that links on pretty much everyone's site are being taken down. I guess this is the big push by the Japanese companies to destroy scanlations. Subbed anime has pretty much been wiped out, I guess this is next.
Subbed anime has pretty much been wiped out Really? I haven't really watched any anime for several months, so I'm not that up-to-date with the current subbing scene. In what way is it wiped out? And this isn't really a new thing. Around the same time last year the same thing happened, and I know that some had problems with it long before that.
Nah, I highly doubt that it's cause of the push from Japanese companies - it's just someone with a grudge against scanlators with too much free time. Though these days reported links are pain in the ass only because of the need to replace links in posts - the hell, if you use HF, you don't even have to re-upload files at all thanks to their 'copy' option. Well, we can't do too much about it.
Shit, someone reported your links ? It sucks :(
