Well, here's a projects that's been close to two years in the making to the day. That's mainly because of my general inactivity last year, but after all this time, now it's finally complete. To make up for this, here's a triple release to celebrate its completion!

In order to not spoil anything, there's not a whole lot to say about these chapters. Chapter 8 is the conclusive chapter to the series, and 9 is a short bonus chapter.

"Colorful Harvest Festival" is a lighthearted bonus book that explains the differences between youth manga (main book) and adult manga (bonus book).

Ryousuke spends his last time on the countryside being ignored by Shiho after what happened in the previous chapter. He eventually has to return to Tokyo and his life goes back to normal... That is, until one day when he's on his way home from the supermarket to drown his sorrows.

Just one more (plus a short bonus) chapter to go!

The titles just get longer and longer in this one, huh?

Ryousuke's carefree days of playing around finally catch up with him as he's confronted by Hitomi, who goes a bit yandere in this chapter. Also, enjoy your cliffhanger ending that sets up for two eventful final chapters.

Here's a pretty rare one: an ero-manga chapter without the ero.

I guess this is more-or-less a "story" chapter, picking up right where the last one ended. Shiho drops by Ryousuke's to dry after falling in the river, and with the house to themselves, they have a talk. Enjoy your... progress?

04 - Sometimes, Even 10,000 Yen (~$125) Bills Will Hang There!

Ryousuke drops of the paycheck to Ryouko--which kinda serves as a way to throw in a sex scene in this chapter. Much like all the other girls in this book, she realizes Ryousuke still has feelings for Shiho, and that Shiho probably feels the same.

Ryousuke, being your run-of-the-mill clueless, male h-manga protagonist, doesn't really believe it, yet he can't stop thinking about it. After work, the two of them go for a walk, reminiscing about their past... and hopes for the future.

03 - On an Unrelated Note, If a Firetruck Comes Rushing By, There's Usually a Wildfire

Here we go again with another lengthy and somewhat odd title. I assume this is supposed to be some sort of variation of "no smoke without fire."

In this chapter, Ryousuke (who I keep calling "Kyousuke" when I work on this for some reason) is injured, and Shiho takes him to the local hospital. Yep, it's time for the aforementioned nurse chapter. Get your fill, because we won't be seeing her again :(

02 -You'll Get a Suntan Even in the Plastic Greenhouse

Since it's been a while, here's a quick recap of chapter one:
After his childhood friend Shiho rejected his confession, Ryousuke moves from his parent's farm to Tokyo to study. Now his father is hospitalized and he has to move back to help out on the farm. For some reason, Shiho and some other girls are working there.

This is his first time helping out with the grape farm, and the girls are helping him learn the ropes. Shiho isn't shy with the criticism, but his getting far more constructive criticism from the agricultural student Hitomi, who happens to dream of being a "farmer's wife."

[Ponkotsu Works] Colorful Harvest Ch.01

01 - The Bus Only Does 6 Round-trips a Day

This is a new book that I'm going to be working on, and there's one story that covers the whole book. That's nice for once, instead of having the rest filled out with old oneshots.

The story is pretty similar to that of TayuTayu. It involves a guy moving back to country after spending some time in the city. He meets up with all his old (female) childhood friends—including an old love interest that rejected him in high school. The art is very pleasing to look at, and this authors works around the censorship laws by, well, not showing anything worth censoring. Despite that, the story and characters have a warm and fuzzy feel to them, making it a nice read in my opinion.
