[Takumi na Muchi] Choudenjihou no Negai Kata + Negai Kata Ano Ato

Here's Takumi na Muchi's latest Toaru doujin. The bonus doujin was uploaded at the same time as the main book this time, so both are included in this archive. You can find the other parts of this series by looking up the other TnM posts on this blog.

Once again, ThorW did the editing for this part. There isn't much to the story in this book. Misaka and Touma get a room at a hotel to hide from the rain, and end up taking a bath together. It also involves Misaka hugging a cat for ultimate moe-ness.

  7. Mind telling us what the title of this doujin translates to?

I know Takumi Namuchi is a female artist, but I really must wonder whether she's pandering to hentai stereotypes with the plotlines of her recent doujinshi. Most of the female characters in her recent doujinshi seem to, for lack of a better phrase, become "addicted to the male character's cock" very quickly, even if love isn't necessarily blooming between the two (such as her To Love-Ru doujins that feature Golden Darkness). I have to wonder if this is the stuff she genuinely finds interesting or if she's just pandering to the otaku, because it doesn't seem very realistic to me (go to your local drug store and many of the women's magazines seem to go on and on complaining about how men are too fast and don't give enough "foreplay," while the female characters in most of her romantic doujinshi can't seem to get to the main event soon enough).

I was also hoping to see Part 2 for Mamori Kata, but I guess that will have to wait. Great work here! Are you going to translate the new Digital Lover doujinshis next?

  8. The title should translate to "How to wish for a railgun" (I'm certainly not fluent in Japanese but I can read a decent bit).

As for the female 'loving the male character's cock,' yeah it seems like TnM is just pandering to the audience the doujinshi are made for. The doujinshi are pretty unrealistic in the depiction of how much the females want the males' cock, but then again this is hentai, so it's supposed to be a bit exaggerated here and there.

As for part 2 of Mamorikata, I'd also like to see that but have no clue when it would be coming. But you can be damn sure if YQII will translate it, I'll edit it. (I'd also like to see more Yami x Rito...)

    Hope this helps.

  9. Thank you for the information. Takumi Namuchi used to be the second artist behind the yuri-centric "Strawberry Panic" manga series, but I don't think she did much yuri in her own doujinshi short of Kuroko's fantasy in "Aishi Kata." It can be hard to determine what an artist personal favourite subject matter is, though.

Come to think of it, Takumi Namuchi's other C80 doujin, the one featuring Yuuki Mikan, was a complete fanservice book (the "fans" who were "serviced" being the ones who would want to, well, emulate the treatment she received from the faceless male characters on her), so Takumi Namuchi is not above pandering when she wants to.

Despite the relative lack of plot in this instalment (as well as the relative lack of justification for Touma and Mikoto's relationship in this doujin series, which may seem odd unless you already ship the characters from their scenes in the TV series), Misaka's big goofy grin while holding the cat is all worth it. Still, if such justification was provided, it would make the story that much better.

Maybe Mamori Kata part 2 will provide more of that justification later.
